Five Day Challenge – Day I

“Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge.”

“October May gave a party the leaves by hundreds came –
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples, and leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet, and everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing, Professor Wind the band.”
My apologies to George Cooper for changing October to June because I live in the southern hemisphere and it’s autumn/fall here now.

And just five short weeks ago, this was the view.

Thanks to Cat at caterel ( for setting me this challenge. Today I nominate Sallyann at Photographic Memories ( whose photos are amazing and the accompanying prose entertaining.

  1. Enjoy your autumn! What a great idea.

  2. It looks as if you get some wonderful autumn colours in your neck of the woods, though, as compensation.
