Annoying, maddening and downright frustrating

Have you ever tried to write a blog on a friend’s computer?  I tried to do so today with no appreciable result.

The computer is obviously older than mine; would not let me upload any of my photos; would not let me surf the web etc etc.

So I am left with only words today.

I think maybe I shall simply repeat the verse from yesterday’s blog and try again tomorrow to entertain you with some fantastic thoughts from this aging brain.

“And now
As the water cascades and tumbles
over the rocks in it’s rush
down to join the river
so my thoughts tumble around my brain
looking for an outlet
or a safe place to stop.”

Unfortunately, today, I am still looking for the safe place.  So until tomorrow.

I know how frustrating it can be when your computer suddenly won’t do what you need it to do. I hope you can get it fixed soon.
Until then, think about your rainbow photo. 🙂

  3. I hope you have found your safe place by now.

I find it very difficult to use a computer other than my own so I know just how you feel.

    • Thanks Lenore Diane. I didn’t remember writing that and then I found it when looking in a notebook. I don’t know what I was thinking to have written it at that time, but it is certainly very apt at present. 🙂

  5. Hi, Judith!
Love the quote! I enjoy picturing my thoughts as water cascading and the bubbling sound of a brook vs. how I usuallypicture my brain…mechanical gears grinding and screws poppin loose.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday/end of year. I haven’t visited in awhile- the whole mommy thing kicks in big- time when Oct-Dec hit. My kids are 6 & 8 and have birthdays just before Thanksgiving. During that time, I’m rarely doing the blog thing or commenting.

Yes, I agree. I hate using even the laptop vs. my pc. it takes me longer to type. *ugh!* However, sluggishness and inability to use the internet…WHOA just hold those horses, right there. Why even bother?

Here’s to catching up in the New Year!
    Happy 2012!

  7. My hubby was given a small notebook computer. I thought it would be really great to have, but it befuddles my mind with the small screen and how the pages display.

    • Well I have looked at notebook computers to use when I am away from my own house. But maybe not as you say because of the size of the screen etc etc. Maybe I should just stay home. 🙂
