Welcome to My Blog

I Choose How I Will Spend the Rest of My Life

I am so glad you found your way to my blog.

All together at the beach

Over the coming weeks, months and hopefully, years, I want to share with you all that  I have found about staying young in both mind and body.

There is so much information available these days on every subject and I wanted to add my own experiences and comments to those sharing their experiences on the subject.

A winter's day at the beach

A Winter’s Day at the Beach

So please come with me on my journey.  My plan is write a blog most days but sometimes I am called upon to be Granma or G to my grandsons.  I may have to miss the blog on those days.

I would love to hear from you.  What you think about my journey and more importantly, about your journey.

Each day is a new canvsas

You can leave a comment on my blog or contact me on jbaxter@clear.net.nz.

Look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Thanks for finding my “I am” blog entry. I have been ill for the last few days and am now starting to catch up on things. I have enjoyed looking at your photos and reading your entries. I love your gratitude list.

    • Jenny thanks for taking the time to reply. I d hope the strep throat is getting better. From so many years ago I remember how difficult it was with small children when one is sick.

Take care I will follow your blogs from the other side of the world.

  2. The best part of blogging is dicovering other blogs. I’m so glad you found mine because now I can enjoy yours. Happy Mother’s Day!

  5. Hi there Jose. I visited your bog and liked it. I have sent you an email as requested. Hope to hear from you soon. :)

  6. Judith! You are such an inspiration! To experience loss and go on to inspire others is a high calling. My regards – Terry

  7. Judith … just heard about an earthquake near Christchurch. I hope you and your loved ones are safe. You are in my thoughts.

  8. Hello Lenore Diane. Thank you for your concern. I have some of my family – son daughter in law and their two children about 300 miles from where the quake was centered. Cellphone coverage is not good where they are but I have sent them a text. No serious damage anywhere has been reported, no loss of life and only minor injuries. We in NZ are certainly being looked after by someone or something. The people in Christchurch and the surrounds must wonder when it will ever stop.
Again, thanks for thinking of us at this time. :)

  9. I am happy to hear all is well – relatively speaking, Judith.
